Illustration assignment on the theme "Journey"
Illustrating a journey from point A to B offers many possibilities...So I thought it would be interesting to take more of an emotional/mental journey.
Often the news of a death or severe illness shocks one from the slumber of every day routine. Sometimes the lucky get an epiphany that time is sacred and fleeting and the remainder should be lived to the fullest. I wanted to make an illustration depicting that positive spin to an unfortunate circumstance.
